Education Provider - Special Needs Students
Onboard Skate provided wonderful skateboarding sessions for our students. Over the course of four weeks they helped our students to learn basic skateboarding skills and safety. Aidan and Martin were able to adapt their lessons to suit our students needs and made a real effort to get to know the students. They showed compassion, caring and a rare ability to work with students with special needs. The lessons from Onboard Skate provided motivation in the classroom as well with the students demonstrating enthusiasm to write and create artwork based on their skateboarding experiences. Our students loved the opportunity and they are all asking if we can have more skateboarding lessons next year!

I thought you'd like to know how impressed we were with our skateboard programme today! The kids had a ball.... Trent and Aidan were sooooo organised, professional and had a fantastic manner with the kids. The equipment/gear and safety precautions were spot on.
I will definitely be rebooking for next year’s Outdoor Ed!!
Thanks so much..

Thank you so much for bringing us the in-school skateboard programme on the 21st, 22nd Nov. The children loved it and we look forward to the follow up sessions on the 19th of Dec as part of our wheels day. Some comments from students were that the sessions were awesome and fun. They thought the equipment was good and the instructor’s friendly and helpful. Some said the lessons were hard but it was good how they showed each skill. They liked the way they were taught to be safe.

Steve and his staff are passionate about the programme and the children love what they have to offer. Children learn the basics of skateboarding and progress in skills and confidence through the 5 weekly sessions. His sessions catered excellently for our year 5/6 students, are well structured, fun and engaging.
Onboard skateboarding put the safety of children as their highest priority.
